It has been a wild week. Last Sunday, me and Anna got an 02 Ford Mustang. It has almost 200,000 miles on it. But, it was a cheap car that drives. It's brakes are a bit funky, but Lord willing we will get them fixed soon. We didn't even plan on buying the car the day we looked at it. I drove it and after a lot of haggling, I was able to get the guy selling it down to $1,000! The car is certainly a blessing to me and Anna, we really needed another vehicle to get us around. Sharing one car and us both working ain't easy. Here is a picture of the car!

It is also worth sharing that on Wednesday the 27th we got our apartment! I have moved a lot of my stuff in. But, Anna won't be moving a lot of stuff in until we are married. It feels surreal to have a place of our own. I have been sleeping in rooms and not having space for so long. It is relieving to be able to have peace and quiet. Dogs barking all loud just gives me so much anxiety. Walk in the house and I am met with "BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK!". It's nerve wracking! I really don't like it, it is hard to see the appeal for that.
You are probably wondering about Thanksgiving. It was not very eventful. But, it was good! Me and Anna's family went to an Indian buffet and enjoyed a lot of tasty food! It's really nice that they have me around a lot.
On Friday, my bro's Jesse and Dyami helped me move some furniture into my apartment! We moved a couple couches, a recliner, and some chairs for the dining room table! It was a day long thing, and it was eventful. We had a good time hanging out with each other while doing it though. And, we got pizza! I tried dipping pizza into Chick-Fil-A sauce, it was okay! I also tried Papa Johns garlic sauce on my chicken sandwich, not good at all. Anyway, here is an attached image of us three brothers!

Finally, one of the biggest days of my life: the proposal. I decided to do this at Poo Poo Point in Issaquah, Washington because I felt it was a silly yet pretty spot. Something I knew Anna would appreciate. We had gone there for a picnic sometime last summer. I was so nervous throughout the whole week, and having the apartment and car thing on top of it was a lot. I am so grateful for God's goodness through it! I poorly communicated with Anna's family about the riding situation. I drove by myself so that I could scout a good spot and mentally prepare myself. So, I waited for them a bit longer than I expected. Which just made the anticipation much worse. But, I was trying to prepare something lovely to tell her before I proposed. When her family got there, we all sat down at a picnic table by the entrance to the hike. The whole time we were chatting, I was trying to find a good opening to take Anna down the hill and propose. My heart was racing so fast. The conversation just sounded like gibberish in those moments. Eventually, I gathered the courage to lead her away. I told her that I found bones earlier and wanted to show her, clearly not true. When we got down the hill, I revealed that there were in fact no bones. She was absolutely devastated. But, I started to tell her about how I love her. Going on about our love. But, her sister Abby was recording. SHE THREW ME OFF. ( abby if you are reading this, it's all your fault, jkjkjk). But, I got much more nervous. Please, do not go looking for the video, I blew this proposal HARD. Anyway, I basically got on my knee and said "uh uh uh WILL YOU MARRY ME?" She said yes, and we hugged! It was so lovely seeing her so happy. She loved the ring I got her, credit to her mom for picking it out. After I proposed, I gave her a gift I had been working on for about five months; I wrote her a book! I went into detail about how much I love her and why I want to spend my life with her. It is about 100 pages long, one of the hardest things I'd ever done. I really want my wife to know how much I think of her and cherish her. I even got it printed on black paper with white ink so that no one would be able to reasonably copy my idea. I love her so much and want her to feel loved by me forever.

We spent the rest of our day by going to Leavenworth to look at cats. We went there thinking about getting one old cat named Milton. Something I love about Anna is her desire to love what the world deems unlovable. During a season when many want to adopt the cute kittens, she wants the old man. But, we fell in love with another cat named Anastasia. After some back and forth, we decided to get both cats. I can't say it was necessarily a wise choice. But, we are both very happy with the cats and are striving to give them a loving home.

This is Milton. Our 14 year old cyclops. He is still adapting to his one eye, which gives him a funky wobble. But, he is so cuddly and nice. He will love anyone who will give him attention.

This is Anastasia. She is a cuddle bug as well! She is a bit more shy, and she is having a hard time growing onto Milton. She wants us all to herself. But, she is very nice and will accept pets from all. She loves to hide behind the recliner. Not much for food though. She still is getting used to the apartment. She was very silly last night. She jumped on my lap while I was building a Lego Batman set. She also tried to eat my Lego Batman figure, little trouble maker. She also meowed me to death when I was trying to sleep. She loves attention.
All in all, last week was great but wild. I am tired and grateful for everything. I pray to glorify God for all the blessings he has given me and Anna. I will try to continue to update this page weekly. Thank you to those who read! God bless you all!
